Dear Visitors,

I am delighted to welcome you to Borsa Vini 2009 which is being held in Dublin and London on Tuesday 6th and Thursday 8th October 2009 respectively.

This important event offers a fantastic market opportunity for all sectors of the Irish and UK wine trade to familiarise themselves with latest developments on the Italian wine scene.

Wine producers from over 40 different wineries representing 14 different Italian wine regions will attend in person and in doing so will offer unique opportunities for visitors to meet, discuss and taste wines on a one-to-one basis.

Whilst a small number of producers have active representation in the Irish and UK markets, the large majority are seeking new or first-time representation.

In addition to the main tasting, a Seminar & Tutored Tasting will be held in London on the theme of ‘Italian Sparkling Parallel’ which will be introduced jointly by Giuseppe Martelli, Director General of the Association of Italian Oenologists and Robert Joseph, acclaimed international Wine Writer and Lecturer. This invitation only Seminar will explore the Italian sparkling wine sector from the Veneto, Trento and Lombardy regions alongside a tasting of a selection of wines from these regions.
